Why do I always have to think about what I eat…
Why can’t I just eat like everyone else…
Have you ever had any of these thoughts?
This is a topic that came up in Thrive Academy for Physicians the other week. And I think it is really important to talk about.
It can feel hard to always need to focus on your eating and feel like if you lose focus in the slightest way, weight comes back.
I’ve been there many times.
However, what I have learned is that staying in this frustration never helps me.
It makes my eating choices feel harder which ultimately leads to them being less consistent.
Have you ever noticed the same thing in your journey?
This week on the podcast, I am talking about how to manage this frustration when it creeps in.
One of the most powerful paths forward I have found is acceptance. Acceptance for my body and how it handles food energy. Acceptance for my brain and the food it is attracted to.
When I choose acceptance, I can stay focussed on my own journey and not waste energy caring about what other people may eat.
How can you create more acceptance in your weight loss?
