COVID and the related changes has created a variety of different stressors in our lives. At times this may feel overwhelming. Meet the Guests
My guests this week are Dr. Jessie Mahoney, Dr. Ni-Cheng Liang and Dr. Sara Dill.
Dr Jessie Mahoney is a pediatrician, a physician wellness expert, a yoga and mindfulness instructor, and a coach for physicians and parents. She has over 20 years experience as a pediatrician and has led physician wellness in a large HMO for 17 years. She facilitates mindfulness and coaching retreats for physicians and is a frequent speaker on wellness and parenting topics.
Sara Dill, MD is a board certified dermatologist and pediatric dermatologist in private practice in Santa Barbara, CA. She coaches physicians as a certified life and weight loss coach through the Life Coach School and is a qualified teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). In her coaching practice with physicians, she specializes in work-life balance, stress reduction, and how to enjoy work and life more, even in these interesting times.
Dr. Ni-Cheng Liang is a mother of 2, cancer survivor, American Lung Association San Diego Lung Health Provider of the year pulmonologist 2019, Top Doctor 2017 and 2019 San Diego, and mindfulness teacher. She is a national speaker, leading keynotes, workshops, retreats on mindfulness, physician well-being, integrative and pulmonary medicine to patients and all members of the healthcare team. She recently founded the Mindful Healthcare Collective, a group of women physician wellness experts (that also include Drs. Sara Dill and Jessie Mahoney) who are leading free live Zoom sessions during the pandemic to support healthcare professionals.
