In the series so far we’ve talked about how to get started and the natural next conversation would be to talk about what the next steps are. In thinking about the next steps, it’s important to look at what mistakes you might make or what might trip you up along the way.
How do you want this to go? If you think about how you want to live your life, while losing weight, and how you want to live your life as you maintain it, what does it look like? Most likely you don’t want to live in a consistent place of restriction. And this is where a customized approach is helpful.
A customized approach addresses your unique variables and is designed for you, by you. A “diet” won’t fix the issues that lead to stress and binge eating, and a “diet” is not sustainable in the long term.
