If you have lost your ability to have fun and don’t even know what fun would be anymore, then this week’s podcast episode is for you.

Over years of assuming additional responsibilities, it can be easy to lose track of what you really want.

This week’s podcast is about taking a journey back to yourself. Getting in touch with what really matters to you at your core. This journey is an important one to get back to the fun in your life, continue on your weight loss journey and also just feel better. It’s a win-win-win.

Here are the steps to start your journey back to yourself:

  1. Find your inner, true self. This is the core “you”. Say Hi… you may not have talked in a while 🙂
  2. Ask your inner self what they want. This step may take a bit and may feel awkward if you aren’t used to this. That’s ok. Any time spent asking yourself what you truly want is time well spent.
  3. Find ways to start introducing what you really want into your life. Everything doesn’t need to change at once. Small changes create big ripples. Maybe this looks like taking 10 minutes a day to read a good book… or calling a friend you haven’t talked to in a while… or trying out a new hobby…
