I’m really excited to share my latest podcast episode with you because it gets right to the heart of what makes weight loss feel easier—and it’s probably not what you’d expect.

In Episode 298, I talk about letting go of the obsession with the scale and shifting your focus to something that actually matters: how you want to feel. It’s such a simple idea, but it makes a huge difference.

Here’s a quick story I share in the episode. A while back, I decided to stop weighing myself every day. At first, I was nervous—how would I know if I was on track? But without that constant pressure, something amazing happened. I was paying attention to how I felt—was I energized, did I feel good in my body, was I actually enjoying my food? And guess what? Nothing bad happened 🤯.  

The scale was always an artificial measure of success.  It is not what makes you successful. You make your success – weighing yourself is optional.

Focusing on how you want to feel – Instead of obsessing over what you “should” eat, ask yourself how you want to feel—more energized, more rested, or just more in control. It’s a simple shift, but it takes the pressure off and makes the process feel so much easier.
