Losing weight takes courage.
But it isn’t the courage you may think…
The courage I’m talking about doesn’t mean…
👎 Saying no to all the food you love
👎 Strong arming yourself towards your goals
👎 Feeling restricted and deprived
👎 Talking to yourself in a stern voice (or worse) about your food choices
Weight loss that lasts, should never feel like that.
Weight loss that lasts needs to fit seamlessly into your life. The changes you make should make your life better, not worse.
You should enjoy the process and love what you eat (Because you need to eat that way for the rest of your life to maintain your weight loss).
Now you may be wondering… “Why do I need courage if everything should feel nice while I lose weight???”…
You need courage to BELIEVE.
👉 To BELIEVE that you can do this
👉 To BELIEVE that you can reach your goals
👉 To BELIEVE that you can succeed even if you make mistakes
👉 To BELIEVE that managing your weight can be something you enjoy
👉 To BELIEVE that you are worthy of treating yourself nicely in eating and weight loss
👉 To BELIEVE that this is all possible
The reality is, there will be many times in your weight loss journey where your brain is screaming at you about how you won’t be able to reach your goal.
In those moments, you need courage to change the conversation and shift back to belief.
Believe even without evidence.
Lead with the belief.
