If you are a physician who hates planning your food in advance, this week’s podcast episode is for you!
(It is also for you if you like the idea of planning but just can’t seem to get it done in your busy schedule)
Confession time… I lost most of my weight without planning my food. And I still don’t plan what I’m eating very often. 😯
Planning can be a very powerful tool in your weight loss.
But it is also possible to be very successful without planning.
There is no “one right way” to lose weight.
This is amazing news if you:
- Have a rebellious streak and rules make you want to scream and run in the other direction
- Find yourself following #alltherules but resenting them when realities of life make them hard to follow
- Carry a laundry list of all the rules you can’t get yourself to follow and use it to beat yourself up everytime your pants feel too tight… “If I could just get myself to do ____ everything would be rainbows and unicorns”
You get to pick and choose the tools you use to lose weight.
Select the ones that feel helpful. Modify them so they fit your life and reject the ones you don’t want to do.
Wanna know how you can still lose weight if tools like “plan your food” are on your reject list???
