I recently had a conversation with a physician. She was telling me how things were going well and she was feeling good sticking to her healthy eating. For the first time in her life, it was feeling fairly easy.
And then she asked “But how long can I keep this going??”
Have you ever asked yourself that? Or maybe something similar like “How long is this going to take?”
As a weight loss coach and obesity medicine physician, I hear both all the time. And I jump all over them when I hear them 😁
Because what sounds like a simple question is 100% slowing you down and may even create roadblocks in your weight loss.
When we start to experience some success in weight loss or things start to feel simple and easy we immediately start waiting for the other shoe to drop.
But what if there was no other shoe to drop?
What if you decided that when things were feeling easy and simple, that you were doing it right?
